Main Course

Pulled pork is a favorite in the south. There are many styles and this is my own. I serve with cole slaw on the side and my home made bbq sauce. I hope you enjoy.

 

Ingredients

1 4 to 6 pound pork shoulder

2 teaspoons dried sage

3 teaspoons onion salt

1 teaspoon garlic salt

2 teaspoons black pepper

Red Wine Vinegar

Directions

Let the pork shoulder come to room tempature. Inject the pork shoulder with red wine vinegar. Mix the spices to make a rub. Rub the spice mixture onto the pork shoulder.

Place on gas or charcole grill and cook at 225 degress until internal temp reaches 170 degrees. While cooking use apple wood for smoke.

Cool and pull pork apart.

 

 

BBQ Pulled Pork
